The Build
From Foundation to Finish — Students Build Every Trade
The course covers every phase of residential construction. Students don't observe — they measure, cut, fasten, and inspect. By the end, they have built a complete, certified tiny home on wheels.
Structural Framing
Students lay out, cut, and assemble wall, floor, and roof framing from real lumber — learning load paths and code-compliant construction along the way.
Electrical & Plumbing Rough-In
Teams run wiring, install outlets, and rough-in plumbing lines — building the practical skills most vocational programs never cover.
Exterior Cladding & Roofing
Sheathing, housewrap, siding, and roofing installation give students a complete understanding of the building envelope and weather-tightness.
Interior Finish Work
Insulation, vapor barrier, trim, and finish carpentry round out the build — leaving students with a move-in-ready structure they built from scratch.
How It Works
Four Steps from Inquiry to Certified Build
Your School Inquires
Tell us about your program, your student body, and your available space. We'll confirm the course is a fit and walk you through the logistics — no obligation.
We Plan the Build Together
We work with your instructors and administrators to schedule the course, arrange materials delivery, and align the curriculum with your academic calendar.
Students Build On-Site
The course runs at your facility. Expert guidance is included — your students frame walls, run systems, and finish the structure over the course of the program.
Certified Completion
Students who complete the course receive a certification recognizing their hands-on construction training. The finished tiny home stays with your school.
Who It's For
Built for Schools and Organizations That Want Real Outcomes
High Schools
Give CTE students a build that matters
Career and Technical Education programs gain a capstone project that bridges classroom theory with real-world construction. Students graduate with documented, hands-on building skills that stand out to employers and trade apprenticeship programs.
Community Colleges
A workforce credential your students can hold
Construction trades programs get a project-based course that produces a tangible, certifiable outcome. The finished home becomes a campus demonstration piece — and evidence of what your program delivers.
Workforce Programs
Retrain workers with construction skills in demand
Workforce development and re-entry organizations can offer a structured building course with a verified credential. Participants gain practical construction experience across multiple trades in a single program.
The Outcome
Students finish with something most adults never build: a complete home.
The tiny home produced in each course is a real, road-legal structure — not a mock-up, not a model. It demonstrates what your program can deliver, and what your students are capable of.
